Hafsa is a Partner at the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Law Department.

Background & expertise

She specialises in advising on foreign exchange related matters, including inbound & outbound FDI, regulatory compliance, Colombo Port City matters, M&A, joint ventures, corporate financing arrangements, corporate restructurings and data protection.
Hafsa has over 8 years of experience practicing law. She also has experience in the field of tax law, having previously worked in the Tax Department at Ernst & Young Sri Lanka. Hafsa joined Sudath Perera Associates in 2018.
Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London and a Master of Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Hafsa is qualified as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
