His main areas of practice are Arbitration & Commercial Litigation, especially in Banking, Leasing, Tax and International Customs Law. He is also an expert in Project Management, Regulatory Compliance Management and Management Theory & Practice.

Academic & professional qualifications, memberships, associations and accreditations

Gamini was called to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka as an Attorney at Law in 1995. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Humanities. He has a Post-Attorney Diploma in Banking and Insurance Law. He has also earned a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Trade Law offered by the University of Wales and a Master of Customs Administration (MCA) offered by the Post Graduate Institute of Management of University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
