Rajni Weeraarachchi

Rajni, a Partner, joined Sudath Perera Associates in 2017. Rajni’s practice primarily focuses on Patent and Trademark prosecution including protection of IPR internationally. She has had significant exposure on preparing and prosecuting international patent applications filed through the World Intellectual Property Organization. Rajni works closely with R&D teams and inventor(s) on prior art and advises on patentability. She also handles pre-clearance trademark searches, filings and represents clients at Hearings before the Director General of Intellectual Property.

Rajni holds an LL.B (Hons) degree from the Staffordshire University, UK. She is a member of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka.
