Gampaha District Judge Indika Kalinga Upawansa yesterday lifted the enjoining order on Fonterra, which prevented the company from selling, distributing or advertising its products. When the case filed by the Government Nursing Officers’ Association was taken up, the Judge, after considering arguments from both sides, vacated the enjoining order. The Court issued the order on August 16, effective for 14 days, preventing Fonterra selling all its products, distributing or selling through agents as well as advertising any form in a misleading manner.
